Program Description
Event Details
Before Pennsylvania’s forests echoed with saws and steam, the beaver was already reshaping the landscape—one dam at a time. Trapped to near extirpation by 1900, beavers are now recognized as master engineers who create and sustain vital wetland habitats. The beaver's remarkable comeback will be discussed in depth at this program celebrating wildlife conservation and coexistence along our creeks and rivers.
Master Naturalist Char Ross will be presenting three NEW programs from Jan-Mar 2026!
Join us every 3rd Thursday at CC Mellor Edgewood Library from 6-7 pm!
