Nurturing the Nature Within
Mindfulness & Movement Program for Children 4-8
The Friendly Tree Experience
Follows life within and around a tree in the forest through mindful movement.
From shaking your leaves, to picking magical fruit, tapping sunlight on your face, making the sound of a bee finding a beautiful flower, giving yourself a bear hug and holding the moon between your hands, this experience will leave you feeling relaxed and imaginative.
Gentle movement, healing sounds, self-massage, breath awareness and guided imagery provide tolls for calming, encourages the relaxation response, promotes self-efficacy, kindness, mental clarity, coordination and mind/body connection
Led by Laura Budde, a practitioner and instructor of qigong, yoga, tai chi and reiki. Since 2019 Laura has taught hundreds of classes in-person and online with students from three to 83 years old. Laura is a graduate of Chatham University's Integrative Health Studies Program as well as an illustrator of children's books.
